Shadowed From the Sun

More often than not, Boise inversions create a nasty blanket of smog to keep us from seeing the light of day. Every now and then we are presented with a lovely sunset that momentarily helps us to forget the fowl cloud of cold air and CO2.

Last night was a bit of a different story. The inversion kept us from the full lunar eclipse experience. It did however, offer a unique perspective of this neat event. I snapped a shot of the eclipse nearing it’s complete shadow stage up on Federal Way at around 8:00pm. I hope that if you saw it you were able to catch a clearer glimpse than myself and the rest of Boise were able to.
